My art work is a product of an interdisciplinary practice and almost always a result of irrepressible curiosity. Generally, I'm interested in collaborative story-telling in order to explore the peculiarities of being inside and outside of you and me. With a recent focus on [the function of play among] an elderly population, projects have been realized through participatory-performance, text, sound, and works on paper.
I received my MFA from Tufts/School of the Museum of Fine Arts (2013) and a BFA from Cornell University with a concentration in printmaking (2006). Currently, I work between Brooklyn and Brookline, MA, most often with my hands (through drawing/painting/print).
Not-too-recently, I began working with & for a global architect who thinks-big and deeply: and with his partner, a photographer whose work teems with compassion. Between the two, I'm hoping it's unavoidable not to grow more deeply [com]passionate.
... with that not-so-terrible-segue, I also recently adopted a Puerto Rican-sato puppy and call him Mister- all quite accidentally. While I'm perpetually attempting to feast and follow through; Mister has already mastered the former, with ease.
Please accept my gratitude for your interest and eyeballs.
